Quality Improvement Program

Quality is a priority for CommunityCare. To help the organization provide high quality, cost-effective services to its members, the Quality Improvement Program works to measure, monitor and evaluate clinical care, non-clinical services and work processes and activities.

The main goal of the Quality Improvement Program is to support the improvement of clinical care and services provided to members. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Quality of Care
  • Availability
  • Clinical Projects
  • Consumer Safety
  • Chronic Conditions
  • Utilization and Coordination of Services

Quality improvement projects are designed to improve performance in preventive care, acute and chronic conditions, selected high volume and/or high risk services and non-clinical service delivery.
